Rhetoric has been given importance for centuries as it has been seen as a

conducing toward Qur’an’s being understood. Many works have been written

out and Arabic’s virtue of language and literature has been shown.

And this book is written to teach those, whose native tongue is not Arabic,

Rhetoric science as they may have some different needs than natives.

Takribu’l-Bela?a uses a new method to make sure that rhetoric is understood

well. Rather than a classical pattern, this book starts from easy and

then proceeds to relatively harder parts; and it starts with Bedî science. As

its focus is literary arts, it is more comprehendible than Beyân and Meânî

science.

Another feature of the book is along with lectures in it, it also has many,

many exercises and leads student’s learning to practice. Thanks to this, this

book can be a very good book for university students.

The book differentiates itself from other rhetoric books by using lots of examples

from modern Arab literature, not those only in classical rhetoric books.
